Play Flag Football Marathon Flag Football Game
On August 30th and 31st, Play Flag Football will attempt to establish the Guinness World Record for the longest game of flag football ever played. The event will take place at the
Off the Wall Soccer Arena, located at 700 Matthew Street in Santa Clara (map), and will serve as a fundraiser for Play Flag Football, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation.
Two teams of 10 players will square off in a marathon 4-on-4 flag football match. The game will begin at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 30th, and teams will play through the night, finishing up on Sunday afternoon around 3:00pm.
The official event web site, MarathonFlagFootball.com, will launch on June 15th. Getting into condition to be a part of a 24 hour game is going to take a fair amount of effort, and the event participants will be given 45-day training programs developed by certified personal trainers, and you will be able to track the training progress of select participants at the event web site.

Participate as a Player!
We have 4-5 open spaces for individuals who wish to participate in this one-of-a-kind event. This is your chance to become a Guinness World Record Holder! Participants will receive:
- A 45-day training and nutrition program to help get you into the best shape of your life
- An opportunity to raise money for a good cause and win exciting prizes
- 2 Marathon Flag Football game jerseys
- An official, framed certificate from Guinness World Records recognizing your achievement and status as a Guinnes World Record Holder

Volunteer to Help Out at the Event
The event festivities will include a Friday night dinner and party, an event kick-off Saturday afternoon, games and activities until 9:00pm on Saturday and from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Sunday, and the Record-Breaking Celebration at 3:00pm on Sunday. We will need help from lots of volunteers to make all of these related events run smoothly.
