Help Us Set a New World Record!
On Saturday, June 23rd, 32 brave athletes will set out to break the Guinness World Record for the longest flag football game ever played at the Off the Wall Soccer Center in Santa Clara. We will attempt to play for 28 hours and break the current official record of 24 hours. Two teams of sixteen players will face off in 5-on-5 flag football to break the record.
Become a Record Holder: Play in the Game!
We're still rounding out our player roster, and have space for people interested in being a part of this one-of-a-kind experience and becoming Guinness World Record holders! If you are interested in playing, please contact us at info@playflagfootball.com. We are hoping to have rosters finalized by March 30th.
It's going to be a challenging event, but we will work hard to make sure that players are well taken care of during the game. We'll have masseuses and medical staff on the sideline, and we'll also have a variety of fun activities in place to make sure you have a great time during the record attempt. We will also fly in an official adjudicator from Guinness who will certify our new world record on the spot.
The event is a fundraiser for Play Flag Football. In order to cover the costs associated with the event and to raise additional funds in support of our programs, there is a $1,500 fundraising requirement per player. Money can be raised by soliciting corporate or small business sponsorships, selling raffle tickets, or individual donations. We'll give you all the tools you need to raise the funds. Donations to Play Flag Football, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
