Overview
Play Flag Football offers 5-on-5 non-contact flag football leagues designed for boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 15. Our leagues are located throughout Northern California.
All league play takes place on Sundays. Teams meet and practice before their scheduled game times and play two games each Sunday*. Games last 45 minutes. The typical team size is 8 to 10 children. The season consists of two practice weeks, a pre-season game, ten regular-season games, and an end of season playoff jamboree where teams will play at least two additional games.
The cost to participate for most locations is $125. Individual league pricing is available in the league location table below. Each player receives a team jersey, shorts, flags and a mouthpiece. Players also receive a league t-shirt. All players will receive a participation trophy from the league at the end of the season.
Some league locations interlock with others, meaning that some of their games may be played at the interlocking league location.
* Our 4 and 5 year old division plays one game every Sunday

Age Groups
Our age cut-off for the fall league is March 1st, meaning that your child's age on March 1st determines which bracket they should be placed in. For example, a child with a birthdate of January 7th, 2000 would have a league age of 12 (his/her age on March 1st, 2012). A child with a birthdate of March 20th, 2000 would have a league age of 11.

How to Register
On-line registration is the only available registration method. You can register using your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card.
Playing With Friends or Siblings
After you register, you will have the option to list a friend, sibling, or coach that you would like to have placed together with your child. You will need to know your requested buddy's email address, and all buddy requests must be submitted through our system. Sibling requests are guaranteed, as are requests by coaches to coach their own child.
The vast majority of the time, we are able to accommodate friend requests. The earlier you register, the easier it is for us to fulfill your request. These requests are not guaranteed, however, as on rare occasions, we are not able to accommodate them.
Forming Your Own Team
We do not currently accept team registrations. The most effective way to register a complete team is to have the coach register first, and then have the interested players request the coach under the Coach/Buddy Request section of registration.
Signing Up to Coach
Coaching our youth league programs can be a fun and rewarding experience. The commitment is limited to a few hours on Sundays. All coaches for the fall will be required to attend a one-hour training course and sign our Coach's Code of Conduct Agreement.
