Play Flag Football offers 5-on-5 non-contact flag football leagues sponsored by the NFL. Our programs are designed for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 14.
All league play takes place on Sundays. Teams will meet and practice before their scheduled game times, and will play two games each Sunday. Games last 45 minutes. The season consists of two practice weeks, a pre-season game, ten regular-season games, and an end of season playoff jamboree.
The cost to participate is $110. Each player will receive a full uniform, including an NFL team jersey, shorts, socks, flags and a mouthpiece. Players also receive a league t-shirt. All players will receive participation medals from the league at the end of the season.
The season will kick off on October 5th with our Fall Football Festival (Time and Location TBA). All equipment will be distributed at the festival. The festival will feature carnival-style games, fitness tests, football skill challenges, raffles, silent-auction items, and more. More than 50 local business are involved in this event.

Our Fall 2008 leagues will feature 7 Bay Area locations. All league sites will be officially announced in mid-July. The table below lists where the leagues have taken place in the past and probable Fall locations:

We offer several different age groups. The cut-off date for the league age is September 1st.

Playing with Friends or Siblings
When you register, you will have the option to list a friend, sibling, or coach that you would like to have placed together with your child. The vast majority of the time, we are able to accommodate these requests. The earlier you register, the easier it is for us to fulfill your request.
These requests are not guaranteed, however, as on rare occasions, we are not able to accommodate them.
Forming Your Own Team
We do not currently accept team registrations. The most effective way to register a complete team is to have the coach register first, and then have the interested players request the coach under the Coach/Buddy Request section of registration.
Signing Up to Coach
Coaching our youth league programs can be a fun and rewarding experience. The commitment is limited to a few hours on Sundays, and everything you need to be a successful coach can be found in our Coach's Resource Center. The league is recreational in nature, and we ask our coaches to subscribe to our positive coaching philosophy.
Coach's registration opens June 15th.
